Role Description – Self-Employed Commission-Based Referral Partner
As a Self-Employed Commission-Based Referral Partner for RK Web Design Group, your primary responsibility is to generate new business by introducing local businesses and organisations to our professional website design services.
You will act as an independent representative, identifying businesses that could benefit from a modern, professionally designed website and explaining how RK Web Design Group can help improve their online presence. Your role is to create interest, build positive relationships, and refer potential clients to our team for a full consultation.
This is not a hard-selling role. Instead, you will focus on networking, building trust, and creating opportunities for businesses to learn more about our services. You will be provided with information about our web design packages, promotional materials, and guidance on how to introduce our services professionally.
Key Responsibilities
Visit local businesses and introduce RK Web Design Group.
Identify businesses that could benefit from a new website or improvements to their existing website.
Explain the benefits of having a professional, responsive, and search-engine-friendly website.
Answer basic questions about our services using the information provided.
Collect business contact details where appropriate and pass qualified leads to RK Web Design Group.
Distribute brochures, business cards, flyers, and other promotional materials.
Build and maintain positive relationships with business owners and decision-makers.
Represent RK Web Design Group professionally at all times.
Keep accurate records of businesses contacted and referrals submitted.
Follow all applicable laws when promoting services, including respecting businesses that decline further contact.
Protect any confidential information obtained during your work.
Work independently to plan your own schedule, prospecting activities, and client visits.
What Success Looks Like
Successful Referral Partners consistently build relationships within their local business community, generate high-quality referrals, and help businesses discover how a professional website can support their growth. The more successful referrals you make, the greater your commission earnings.
Working Arrangements
This is a self-employed subcontractor opportunity. There are no guaranteed hours, minimum working requirements, or salary. You have complete flexibility over when, where, and how you work, provided you always represent RK Web Design Group professionally and ethically.
Commission
You will receive commission for each client you introduce who signs a contract with RK Web Design Group and successfully pays for their website or service in accordance with the commission schedule outlined in your subcontractor agreement.
Training and Support
RK Web Design Group will provide:
Information about all available services and packages.
Sales and marketing materials.
Guidance on introducing our services professionally.
Ongoing support if you require assistance with a potential client.
Updates on new services, promotions, and pricing where applicable.

We are looking for a creative and reliable Self-Employed Website Designer to work with RK Web Design Group on a subcontractor basis.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys designing professional business websites and wants the flexibility to work remotely while choosing which projects to accept.
Work is offered on a project-by-project basis, with no guaranteed hours, giving you complete flexibility to manage your own workload.
Responsibilities
- Design and set up professional business websites
- Build websites using approved website platforms (including Webador and other approved platforms)
- Create responsive, mobile-friendly websites
- Upload and format client content
- Optimise websites for usability and performance
- Complete revisions where required
- Meet agreed project deadlines
- Communicate professionally with RK Web Design Group
Requirements
- Experience designing websites using website builders or CMS platforms
- Good understanding of responsive website design
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work independently
- Reliable internet connection and suitable computer equipment
